I’d like to pick One word of advise: since this could be dependent on many variables, once your system is set up the way you like and BTC is working, leave it alone!! Don't upgrade anything, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! I recommend: first only installing BTC (then after it works install Cydia apps one at a time, remove the Cydia app that causes substrate safe mode, for me it was FullForce), make sure Cydia substrate and extensions are up to date, re-install BTC Mouse & Trackpad. However there can be Cydia apps that interfere. Mouse performance: At lock screen mouse click wakes up iPad Air, can take picture at lock screen using mouse, after right click mouse can click on passcode numbers and unlock iPad Air, mouse touch scrolling works on opened desktop scrolling through app icons, mouse pointer reaches all areas of the desktop screen, app icons open with one left click, open apps close with one right click, mouse touch scrolling works in Safari, Settings, etc. I'm using the following: IOS 10.2, Yalu 102, iPad Air, Logitech FabricSkin Keyboard Folio i5, Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse. However Cydia pushed out substrate, I installed upgrade substrate, all extensions, then I re-installed BTC and it now works.
When I first jailbroke my iPad Air it did not work. BTC Mouse & Trackpad is working for me on IOS 10.2.
